ok, so i finally got a mobile version of my website working...
am using the Switching Theme module for 4.7 - no fancy auto detection of browser type and then serving mobile version for me as i suck at tech programming stuff...
i have tested this on a Nokia N95 phone and it seems to work ok...

just choose the "mobile" option under the Theme block and away you go...
now, i would have prefered some sort of automatic browser detection and theme switching but like i said i am a newbie so i have no idea how to do this...
would it be possible with what i have so far to now figure out the browser detection aspect and then trigger the theme switching module with some sort of link that gets autoloaded to change the theme?
anyway, there are some features that are broken on the mobile theme...
the biggest problem is i don't have flash on my N95 - well, its ~Mobile Flash which can play youtube stuff but not the flash on my site...
this means users can't listen to songs or view my photo galleries...
argh... any workarounds you guys can suggest?
any feed back appreciated...
