I can't use Privatemsg module [#238001]

Hello,
I have installed drupal 6.1 in my PC.
I want to import a phpBB2 2.0.20.
I have uploaded phpBB2drupal module, that consists in 3 parts: phpBB2Drupal, phpBB2Privatemsg and phpBB_Redirect.

After tthat, I have uploaded Privatemsg module, the last version I have found: 5.x-1.8Following messages appears in my admin module:

Privatemsg 5.x-1.8 Allow private messages between users
This version is incompatible with the 6.1 version of Drupal core.

phpBB2Drupal 6.x-1.0 Migrate your phpBB data into a Drupal forum.
Depende de: Comment (activado), Forum (activado), Node (activado), Poll (activado), Profile (activado), Taxonomy (activado), User (activado)
Needed for: phpBB2Privatemsg (NOT AVAILABLE)

phpBB2Privatemsg 6.x-1.0 Migrate your phpBB private messages to Drupal privatemsg.
This version is incompatible with the 6.1 version of Drupal core.

Can you help me?

Hello again,

in the phpBB2drupal module, a sentence shows:

"phpBB2Privatemsg

* Will convert phpBB privatemsgs to Drupal Privatemsg - the contributed privatemsg module is required for this to work.
* Prior to the Drupal 6.x release, this was part of the main phpBB2Drupal Module and not as a separate module"

But if there are no version of privatemsg module for drupal 6.x, why is this text here? I'm confusing.

Do you know if it is conpatible with 6.0 drupal version?
Would I downgarde 6.1 to 6.0?

5.x versions of modules are not compatible with 6.x versions of Drupal. You'll either need to use the 5.7 branch of Drupal, or wait patiently for a 6.x branch of privatemsg to be released.
