User Relationship Module - Help!

I can't seem to get the user relationship module to work. Has anyone successfully set it up on profiles that use nodeprofile? I've tried to display the blocks that list the users relationships, but nothing works. I find that when logged out it seems to display on non-nodeprofiles.

I am trying to use the user relationship module in a way that allows a member to say whether they've worked with a specific member or whether they would like to work with them. Then these members should be visible on the users profile for other members to see.

Any suggestions?
