Its bringing the site down to a crawl. Even simple thing like font size change on one word by clicking up arrow is taking close to 8 seconds.
No usable right now.... But a great effort and awesome plugin.....when it is responsive.

may help if you explain how its set up. Are you using the library locally or using yahoo ?

Occassionaly I see this behavior too:

Then I enabled it using the admin screen in the website

In the text area window, I see some crazy things like <----normal----> etc... and I could not have my cursor get into the box and delete the text. There was also no tool bar. And it looked like the entire tool bar was in the text area with buttons being represented by some text.

I have just disabled it and now I will try FCK or xStandard... not sure of my success there either...

because you don't mention downloading and setting up the actual library on your server this leads me to believe you were using yahoo's shared library which is why you may have had intermittent slowdowns.

but since you have moved on, I guess there is no real way to diagnose any longer. As such I will close this thread.

Hi Very

I checked up today and noticed that the common library - whic I had not touched pointed to YUI on HTTP protocol pointing to 2.5.0

As I mentioned, I have not tested YUI as I started to try something else but I am sure going to be back. When I do, I will use the files/lib option just to get a better idea on performance.
