Views alpha 3 is not recent enough, you need latest Views code, either from CVS or from http://drupal.org/node/95897

Bumping this to keep it on top of the list since people keep reporting it.

Views 2 code is ALPHA quality and is literally changing every day and we are keeping up with the changes in CCK. The alpha 3 version of Views will NOT work with CCK any more, you need the latest development version. And you will need to keep getting the latest development version of both CCK and Views at least until there is a beta release of the Views 2 code.
