I have my site on a local server now, and I'm trying to get the images module to work properly.
I'm pretty sure the path needs to be changed because images don't display after they're uploaded.
How do I change this?

This should be filed against the image.module which is what it seems you may be having trouble with, not against drupal core itself. You don't list enough information to know where to put this issue in the image module query. As such I'm closing this issue.

you would be better served opening a new on in the image module query or posting your question in the forums.

Either way, this certainly doesn't belong here.
