I've been using Drupal since 4.7, but have never reported a bug, today is a new start. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but virtually none of the views settings will change on "update" views filters is always "exposed" or "unknown", the style is always "unformatted" ect. Is this just because the version is no where near feature complete, or are these bugs???

drewschmaltz commentedforget it. I got the latest dev version and see that its just not feature complete...

merlinofchaos commentedHmm. No, everything you've mentioned should be working. Now, there are a lot of features missing, but if you select the view style and click 'table' and then 'update' it should change to table.
What version of PHP is your server using?

drewschmaltz commentedI forgot to add the handler to make .php default to 5 (i'm on godaddy). heh, forgot I even did that on my old sites (always copy pasted the .htaccess for D5 and wanted to use the new one with D6). I'll let you know if that fixes it, because no settings will change.

merlinofchaos commentedWell. It *should* be working on PHP4 now, but at this point I can't remember if that's alpha3 or not. I think it is. But it's good to know which one you're using, nonetheless.

drewschmaltz commentedUPDATE: after a fresh install, the only thing not working is filters. exposed seem to work fine, the others are always node:type unknown. Update toggles from expose to "unknown".
I am using 5.2.5
The only other module I have installed is cck and contemplate. Clean urls are installed, but I am running it on a subfolder: drewschmaltz.com/ygather

merlinofchaos commentedHmm. What browser? It sounds like this may be a javascript problem.

drewschmaltz commentedFirefox 2.0.0.12

merlinofchaos commentedAre you still having these problems with the latest beta? No one else has reported problems like these and I haven't seen anything like it myself, so I honestly have no idea what's going on with this. I'm kind of hoping that maybe some of the fixes I've put in more recently will have fixed this for you. If not it may require some intensive debugging on your system to see if we can figure out what's going wrong there.
