I really am new at this and i would like to add a forum to my site, can someone Tell me how? i have downloaded the file! What next?

Hi Elaine,

Welcome to drupal...

Assume you have the latest version (4.6.) installed and setup...just follow these simple steps to create your forums:

  1. Click on ADMINISTER -->> MODULES
  2. Scroll down and you'll see a list of modules that are either enabled or disabled. ENABLE the FORUMS module and click on the SAVE CONFUGURATION button at the bottom
  3. You should now see a new FORUMS link under the ADMINISTER menu link
  4. Click on ADMINISTER -->> FORUMS and there is a set of very simple forum setup options, that allow you to configure your forums.

  2. If that doesn't answer what you need, do a quick Search on this forum before posting your query.
