Seems to me like the only module which will enable using custom maps without the google engine.
That's what i'm looking for.
Is this module in production use?
I'm playing around with it and starting to get the hang of it... but - is there anybody who will help with a (paid) installation?

jpulles commentedAt the moment not much is happening here. I'm working at the moment on a "mapping kit" which uses postgresql/postgis, mapserver/mapscript, openlayers to accomplish custom mapping. See e.g. http://aardbodem.nl/node/3 for an example.
This kit will become available for Drupal 6.

jpulles commentedThe module is being used in production sites. See e.g. http://zeist.geodan.nl/?q=node/1/kaart. I should be able to help you with a (paid) installation, you can just send me a mail.

jannalexx commentedTring to use the module with (latest for now and close to stable release) version mapbuilder1.5rc2
it seems that some core changes prevent the map from working
OpenLayers is the default and only engine now, There are Some Deprecated Widgets and Tools like "mapPane" that has been changed to "mapPaneOL". Can someone (or the main developer) give some advice how to change the module code (based on 1.5alpha1) to reflect those changes and store/draw the new version 1.5 maps / default examples? Can someone test it with 1.5rc2? or imagine hackways to show the new maps?
