I am looking for a module that can download items from and ftp site that creates nodes out of them. The content are games and comics that need to display as their own nodes. This module pick up these games and comics during scheduled cron jobs. Does anyone know of a module or modules that does this?

Hi, I solve similar problem: in my case bot should upload new data in files and then it would be processed.

I have created new module Node import via cron, it requires Node import module.
User or bot should append content to the existent files for tasks.

I hope it will be useful for you. Please test it.
