Hey, you are duplicating the efforts of these people (they are also using ARC2) and their work seems to be much further ahead:

Why don't you contact them and, maybe, spend your time on backporting what they have done to D5, for instance, or something else but in collaboration with them?

the ARC RDF store will be discontinued in D6 in favor of the RDF API. There is no such store in D5, which is why this project was created initially.
