Thanks, I'll look at this tomorrow. For next time, it would be preferable to have just one cvs patch file (as in cvs diff -up) without any extraneous bits (some extra lines like // }}}).

It looks like the timeEntry plugin is already part of the date module: http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/modules/date/date_p...

I don't want to duplicate jQuery plugins that are available elsewhere on cvs.drupal.org -- unless the date module maintainers want to remove the timeEntry plugin and have a dependency on jquery_plugin, then I could add it here. You could ask them about that.
