Should I install the gallery into the same database as Drupal is but with another prefix or it is better to install it in other database?

Thats completely up to you.
Most users install Gallery 2 into a separate database. That makes it easier to maintain G2 on its own (backup db, etc.), but unless you are using a separate db server to put the load of the G2 database on it doesnt really make any difference. You can choose whatever is more convenient for you. Functionally it is equivalent.
