Here we have a site that sent (for example) status 1 (need security update) whereas the module is actually waiting for a non-security upgrade. This is either due to:

1. the way the status was stored (aka server-side), or;
2. the way the status was sent (aka client-side)

This is a major blocker, of course.

It seems the problem is due to the fact that update nodes on the server are not deleted when a module is disabled on the client. This behaviour will be fixed in version 2.
