the module grabs information from yahoo finance and publish it on our websites,, is that legal or not?

Factual data like telephone
Factual data like telephone numbers and stock quotes are not copyrightable.
As for whether Yahoo! would like it, I suspect they'd be fine with it - that's why they provide the CSV files the Stock API uses.
