Issue Summary
I only want to use points to apply a discount and not pay for an entire order. Would it be possible to set a maximum allowable discount? So regardless of how many points a user may have they can only use a set maximum amount off of a single order?

This will be available in the 2.x-dev soon, it is currently being developed along with a fix to prevent users from enter more points they have or more than the order total.

In some trouble shooting on another issue for D6 this looks like it was resolved. If you are still using D5 please consider upgrading as no changes will be made to the D5 branch.
