how to: drupal6.x - photo studio proof galleries ...
I have been using Drupal since version 4.x.
In Drupal 6.x now, many extension modules are no longer being maintained or supported.
In Drupal 6.x, how can I go about creating a photo gallery system where access to each photo gallery folder can be restricted on a per user/login basis?
My purpose is to create a proof set for each photo client/session, that only they can access with their login. In addition, it would be nice to be able to augment the gallery with features/fields to enable print ordering.
What 6.x compatible extension modules, or core features, are available to facilitate this?
In previous versions there were flexinodes, which enabled adding custom fields that provided storage for the ordering information. Is there something analogous to flexinodes in the new version?

Should I infer from the lack of responses that there is no longer image gallery support in Drupal 6.x? Should I infer from the lack of responses that nobody has plans to upgrade the older image gallery modules to support Drupal 6.x?

Perhaps you'll have more luck there. FWIW I'm evaluating Drupal right now and I want exactly the functionality you're talking about - at the moment I'm moving a site from a static layout to CMS, so I have no investment in Drupal yet - although they don't appeal so much to my geeky nature I can see me looking more closely at Joomla! or Typo3...
