Notifying admin when account created

I'm looking for a module that would send a notification to admin when a new user has registrated. I found some but I'm not sure can they do what I want and part of them are still in the deveploment phase:
Role Watchdog
Advanced User

Have I missed something? One would think that there is a functionality to achieve my goal.

I'm also looking for a module which could make it possible to set expiration days to certain roles. I found Account Expiry -module but that isn't stable yet.
