Dear Friends,
I have two website based on drupal. I want to unify them and maybe add another websites. Indeed my main purpose is that the members of one website can post topic and image etc in the other website without registering.
Is there a module for creating a bridge between them?
How can i change the existing module(s) and table(s) for accessing to the account of users in the website? or maybe centralizing the table of users in the database of one website?
Please help me?
Thanks

If the sites are hosted on the same server you can use a "multi site drupal install" and share the user related tables.
info about this is in the INSTALL.txt file in your drupal download (under "MULTISITE CONFIGURATION").

You may want to then use the "shared Log-On" module so that users only need to sign on once.

Thanks ray_223,
My hust is a shared multisite host from hostgator.
Is it possible to use multi-site module in a shared host?
Is there a solution to use separate db for each website? Because we have the limitayion of 25 concurrent user connections per db.
Thanks!

Hi,

I have never used Hostgator ... AFAIK it should work though.

I'm 99% sure you need to have shared user tables for the shared sign-on module to work.

I have a simple idea for shared sign in
What's your idea about creating a cron job to insert new records of user table to the user tables of other drupal websites. So, the user will sign in in the other druoal sites of groups after e.g. 24 hours.
I should write an script for this purpose.
Please help me in this way.
Thanks!
