Where to place the <footnote> tag for the Footnote module?

mkogel - March 28, 2008 - 15:29

In the READ ME file of the footnote module indicates that the footnotes can be placed anywhere by placing the or tag.

What I couldn't figure out is where to place this tag...

I have tried the theme's page template, did not work... perhaps the syntax as wrong...

any help?

Anybody who used the footnote module?

Cannot still figure out where to put the <footnote> tag. It can't be that difficult, can it. Or, have I gone totally dumb...

I want to show the footnotes in custom generated block at the bottom of the Book generated by the book module.

Currently it is showing like this:

header
content blurb [1]

------------
[1] footnote

---------------
- link 1
- link 2
------------
previous link up next link

Footnotes are placed by default at the bottom of content but gets too confusing if there are other links under. I understand that I can use tag on a page to position the footnotes but not workinggggggggg for me.

------------------------------
I am a newbie, please be gentle with me...
