Role Access Control ignoring me

Hello,

I've setup a role - admin, and gave it permissions to edit certain node types, i included the ability to create, edit and edit own.

But when I'm logged into that user, the user can create other node types and not create some I specified. All other roles don't have any access to create nodes.

is there something I have to run to get it to work?
