Hello all,

I'm sorry to bother, but I've been banging my head for five hours straight trying to execute the patch on the form.inc file that the Editviews module needs in order to work. I'm working on a WinXP, and downloaded, cygwin, gplwin, etc, trying multiple versions of patch, and keep getting an error stating that the patch file is an invalid patch file. Very, very annoying, and I can't figure out why.

As the patch only modifies one file (the form.inc file in the includes folder), I'm wondering if someone could have mercy on me and quick post the patched file? Please? I know the patch isn't at fault but I can't figure out what's wrong on my end. This should be so simple. But somehow it's not. Help!

I was having the same problem - never figured it out on windows. Got it to work on by doing EVERYTHING via shell on my linux server. I still get this error though: http://drupal.org/node/217937

Here is the file with patch applied, hope it works for you.

If the patch file works correctly on Linux, there is nothing wrong with it.
It may have got corrupted when downloading, or there may be line-ending issues on Windows.
As this is not needed anymore for recent editview versions and as this is not an editview problem I will be closing this issue.
