CCK view fields are overwritten when they are hidden

Description

CCK view fields are automatically changed when, using CCK permisions, they are hidden to the user.
For instance, if a CCK content node containing view fields is correctly created by a role, and exists another role whose privileges do not allow the edition of the view fields, the content of the view fields are changed automatically when editing the node (DO NOT MAINTAIN THE VALUES ORIGINALLY PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR). In fact, these hidden fields automatically change the value to the first view of the view list.
Obviously this problem is not critic but invalidates the use of CCK field permisions for view fields. I am not sure if the same occurs when editing nodes with other hidden CCK field types.

IS this problem solved in further versions?
Sincerely,
José Parets
