We're offering a $500 prize to the first person to check-in a stable drupal 5.7 compatible module under the GPL that fulfils the functional requirements specified below and is prepared to offer their support ironing out any remaining bugs that emerge over the following two weeks.

Once posted, One Economy Corporation will contact the module's author to arrange distribution of the prize.

We'll be deploying the module in the full release of http://www.247townhall.org/ a site with big ambitions to widen participation in political debate across the US.

Description
A plugin for Media Actions module which would enable uploading videos to YouTube using YouTube API (preferably using Media Actions compatible with Actions 2.x). The component must be stable, licensed under GPL and Drupal 5.7 compatible.

Functional requirements
1. Video upload:
- Upload video to one or more YouTube accounts (set up in site administration, can be assigned depending on user role/node
type/taxonomy)
- Assign title, description, video category, tags, broadcast options and sharing options fields to YouTube videos (the same fields occur on http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload).
- At the time of submitting the node upload video to YouTube and embed video within node (reference YouTube video id created in upload process). If upload fails, display custom error message to the user and log the raw error message.

2. Video editing:
- Ability to edit already uploaded videos on YouTube and embedded videos within the node - edit YouTube video file and all video fields listed above + display tag value as video status field in the node.
- If a node is deleted, video should automatically be removed from YouTube
- If YouTube video edit/deletion fails, display custom error message to the user and log the raw error message.

3. Optional:
- ability to keep a copy of the uploaded video on local site and keep it up to date (local copy should always be in sync with YouTube version)
