Control Info in About This Node Block

Thanks for the request and your interest in About this node. I won't be adding this feature, however, because it's not in the project's scope. The purpose of this module is to provide quick, at-a-glance information about a node to a site's maintainers or editors -- not the general public. This is a time-saver node, and it's not really intended to be seen publicly by your site's visitors.

yes, it's clearly stated "About This Node is not built with end-users in mind". If that is not in the scope, what would be other module close to this. say I would only want to show :

I suspect it's faily easy to hack the module and theme it, but don't think that's the best way ..
