Anonymous (not verified) commentedI am having the same problem, except I'm using version 5.x-2.1. Works great in Firefox, but IE7 won't render FCKEditor and it just shows blank space where the textarea is.
I tried upgrading to FCKEditor 2.6rc, but the problem still persists.

wwalc commentedCould you open Firefox with Firebug and check if any javascript errors occured?
CobraMP commentedI am completely new to "firebug" (looks pretty cool tho)
I activated FCKeditor and Firebug, viewed a page in an ie tab and nothing obvious was seen for any errors.
Perhaps a specific instructions for the firebug newbie to test for such errors is needed.

Jorrit commentedPlease reopen if the problem still exists

mattconnolly commentedI'm having the same kind of problem with Safari, but only intermittently. If I force Safari to refresh the page it always loads, otherwise I'm seeing the blank white area about 90% of the time.

hedley commentedI too am having this problem, FCK works fine in FF 1 & 2 and even in IE 6! But just a big blank space in IE7.
Tryed installing the latest stable releases and still no luck, I've looked around a fair bit and tryed messing around with the stylesheets and fckeditor's html templates.
Any ideas?

wwalc commentedCheck the error message showed by IE. Clear browser's cache (usually it solves similar problems). Switch to Garland theme to see if that changes anything.

knilob commentedI've having the same problem with the AD Novus theme. FCKEditor shows up fine in Firefox and Safari, but it won't show up in IE7. I switched to Garland and the toolbar appeared. Now I'm racking my brain to figure why this theme isn't working right with FCKEditor in IE7. Anyone have any ideas?

hedley commentedUpdated Drupal & FCKeditor to latest version and works fine.
