New content only viewable by administrator

I am setting up a Drupal site, new to it and CMS. I created some content as Admin but then yesterday I added a bunch of content and when I went to show it to a user, it wasn't there for them. I logged in as Admin and it was all there.

I had been playing with the Views module and the organic groups module but it seemed way beyond my skill level at this point so I turned those modules off and then deleted them.

Even after doing that, I can't get any new content added by any user to be visible to anyone but people with the administrator role.

Any ideas?

Fixed it

I finally found something on it and the problem was the taxonomy_access module. I uninstalled it but it didn't drop a couple of tables. I dropped those and my content now shows for all users.
