I go to the add user page at admin/user/user/create, fill out the form and get the error 'The username Name does not exist.' Well, of course it doesn't.. I'm trying to create it.

I have the same issue. Users can create accounts normally, but I get the same result when trying to create a user through the admin interface.

I use the same version.

I am also running into the same problem.

I have usernode installed and have turned off all registrations save for those done by admin, I assume it's a conflict with usernode only wanting to create new nodes through the registration window and not through admin, I can't fix it since i am not a programmer

Drupal 5 is no longer supported, so unfortunately this issue will have to close without a resolution. If you have a similar problem in Drupal 6 or higher please open a new issue.
