missing taxonomy drop-down lists post update

The same thing happened to me after the last time I updated Drupal, namely, after the update, categories/taxonomy are no longer available for adding when you post an article, forum message, etc.
I recall there being some sort of fix for this, it was relatively simple, but I can't remember what it was...nor can I seem to find reference to it when searching.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, please do so...thanks.

Hi, I have the same problem. Strange thing, first it worked on a machine (standard CentOS 5.0 installation), when i moved the site to a virtualmin server on CentOS too, it didn't work any more.
The problem I have with the simplenews module and the image module, were there aren't any drop-down boxes with the category anymore.
I don't know what the difference might be. Having drupal 5.7 on both machines (fresh software installation though, only database moved and files directory).
Can't figure it out. If anyone can help, please.
