I used this module heavily on my Drupal 5 sites, and am converting all those sites, and only doing new sites with Drupal 6. Is there any status on an update that will get this working in D6??

I really like using this module, as it really makes selecting taxonomy easier than the ugly default select boxes.

I just did a round of updates to this module recently and won't get to this one until I've touched all of my other modules first. This will probably be the last round of updates to the D5 versions of all of them. So the next round will be D6 updates. No ETA.
