Dynamically Updated "Output Example"

I was wondering if it wouldn't be possible to have the option of having a pair of textboxes at the top or bottom (or maybe floating?).
The first one, you could type in some text of an example "input."
In the second, a dynamically updated result of the filter you're editing!

This would make it so much easier to edit complex filters because you could see what was happening to the text as you edit. (Also, sometimes I have to disable and reenable a filter for an input format before it updates in articles, so it can be tedious to see the results of little filter changes sometimes)

Another way to do it would be to have a right-floating textbox in every component that shows the original text's transformation, step by step, until the final result that's shown at the bottom.
