Integrate with Subscriptions?

I looked at all subscriptions and notification modules available, none was stable or usable enough for the purpose this module was developed for. Subscriptions is indeed very competent but there's no stable release as of now and it has just too many features we (client and I) didn't think were needed. Notifications looks like a great effort but lacks the simplicity we needed and it's still only alpha. Implementing Watcher as a plugin for Notifications once Notifications becomes stable could be a way to go provided it can still be as easy to use and configure. Notifications and its plugin for tracking posts and comments seem to have been designed with much the same things in mind as Watcher, but it's a general framework and is therefore quite intimidating if you only need the features Watcher offers.

Watcher isn't available for Drupal 6 yet and it's probably a good idea to look at how Watcher can be rewritten as a plugin for Notifications for Drupal 6 rather than porting Watcher itself, again provided it doesn't screw up usability. :)

I like the simplicity and usability of this. I appreciate you keeping that as a primary concern. I'll be watching for a D6 version.
