I see that you can make users affiliates, but I don't understand how they go about getting affiliate links for my products or anything like that. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess nobody else knows how to use the module either. I think I will switch to Ubercart.

Seems like Ubercart is getting there. I am working o setting up an affiliate system for UC now.
