I really love this module. Thanks for offering it.

Currently, the "Group" filter defaults to "None" if the user isn't in a group. Is there a way to make it default to "User" instead?

This feature has been added. Instead of 'user not in a group', I'm using 'context of the current location is not a group', which will include your use case.
