It seems I do not have the option to connect users to their author term, I have citations on and it has a link of the authors name, but when I click it's page is not found. And the functionality is no where to be found. I don't think I'm missing any additional modules as I do have the ability to select which vocabulary will be used as authors.
Am I missing something?

romca commentedsorry for the delay, workload...
please check that
1) ejournalauthors module is enabled
2) you can see the authors tab in the ejournal administration
3) you have set up one vocabulary for authors
4) the configuration of your journal, you have selected this vocabulary (from step 3) as a dictionary for the authors
5) if all that things go, then you have to pair the users and terms in the authors tab
could you also post the link you see when clicking on the citation now?

fayola commented1) yes it's enabled
2) no Authors tab :(
--- from http://dev.mysite.ca/admin/settings/ejournal
---tabs shown are:
* List
* Access rights
* Add journal
* Global settings
3) Yes vocabulary is set for authors
4) Yes it has been selected
5) No Go!
Link to a specific author: http://dev.mysite.ca/ejournal/1/term/27?edit%5Btype%5D=author
I've also tried typing in: http://dev.mysite.ca/ejournal/1/term/27?edit[type]=author
Screen shot of assigned vocabulary is attached.
Thanks for the response, much appreciated.

romca commentedHi,
it has been fixed - it was a minor problem in the arguments passed to an access check function, yet a crippling one. Affects mostly a new installations.
Please get the fresh files, no need to install, just visit /admin/build/menu and your links should be rebuilt.
best,

fayola commentedI'm on the Author adim page: http://dev.mysite.ca/admin/ejournal/authors
trying to assign the author term to a particular user of the ejournal_authors role but it's not taking the change when I click submit and the authors link in the citations acts like the page is not found.
