I have several errors that say something similar to the following example:

Severity warning
When I try to access the page, it says I do not have permissions and I am an admin with all known permissions turned on. BTW, The links are for an intranet.
What's going on?

Definitely have not tested Chatblock for use on an intranet. You might try digging apart the module and finding the JavaScript code which calls chatblock/view and hard-coding the link.

The link is external. I don't think the site's location shouldn't prevent http:// links from working.

Are you able to enable clean-urls? It is possible this is the issue.
