The Polar Bear Conservancy is a creative nonprofit here in Seattle. The ExDir asked me to put the word out for a good Drupal contractor to help them migrate their Web site platform. They basically have a simple iWeb site right now (http://www.polarbearconservancy.org).
Their mission is to migrate three thousand polar bears to Antarctica in a bipartisan effort to save the species -- the first drop goes South on Earth Day in just a few weeks!
If you're interested, you can contact them at info@polarbearconservancy.org.
You can read more about them here:

I'd appreciate it if you could spread the word! Thanks!

Doing it for my daughter
Hi
I think I am going to take this project, so my 4 year old would think I am a cool dad (Polar bears, who can resist!)

Are you folks nuts???
or just playing along - check the date man.
and BTW - introducing Polar Bears into a pristine ecology with no large predators... not a "good cause" - at least not if you're a penguin :-P
lol
i've just read http://gristmill.grist.org/story/2008/3/31/155730/362
[UPDATE: This post is a joke, as is the Polar Bear Conservancy website. Happy April Fools' Day!]
haha
Hmmmm....
Are you doing this in conjunction with the "Move The Penguins To the North Pole Foundation" at the same time?
That might work. :-)
