Will this module provide proximity searches ??

Issue Summary

Hey there,

I was wondering if this module could be a complete replacement for the location module?? I need users to add their adress and then automatically make it appear on a map. That's fine with this module...

What I also need is a way to see "neaby" nodes when I'm looking at one, and also a way to make a search by postal code to see surrounding nodes, is that possible with this module??

The patch at http://drupal.org/node/227491 will provide a views argument where you can look for nodes from a lat,long and specify a distance.

however postcode's could be a whole different deal.

Upcoming cck fields will support them without patches.......
