The Organic groups module is working well on my test site,
and when logged on as the orignal user #1 drupal system
admin account. The group page content type has been set up
and appears as a content type on the create content page, and
does allow the creation of new groups. It also works as
advertised in giving accounts that are group members specific
publishing rights within the group.

The problem is that the group content type does not show up under
create content for my other administrative accounts, which
are assigned a role with all of the availble permissions checked.

Any ideas on what I should check or is just a limitation of
the module that only the #1 account can create groups?

P.S. I have actually found behavior this on two seperate test
installations.

Also I was not sure if this should go here or to the main OG area.

Anyone with permission should be able to create groups. I don't see anything in your description that has anything to do with this module.
