Rotor2 uses the power of Views to create rotating content blocks, allowing you to create and configure multiple Rotor blocks. The Rotor Item content type is provided for backwards compatibility, and for ease of use, however, you are not limited to rotating through these items alone. Main changes since Rotor1:
* Views powered
* Rotate through any node type
* Multiple rotor blocks
* Per rotor block configuration
* Ajax image uploads (AHAH)
* Configurable tab position (above or below)
First release candidate for Rotor2. Changes since last beta:
- imagecache support
- ironed out bugs in multiple block display support
- upgrade path from Rotor1
- code cleanup
Should be stable enough to use on production sites.
This is the first beta release of Rotor v2. New features:
* Views powered
* Rotate through any node type
* Multiple rotor blocks
* Per rotor block configuration
* Ajax image uploads (AHAH)
* Rotor image title (separate field for image title and alt text)
New branch for new development work.
Moving away from the current content-type approach and rewriting as a views display plugin to allow for greater flexibility.
Fixed issue when loading for IE6.
Fixed initial all contents showing.
This version now optionally works with imagecache 2 (no official release for drupal 6 yet)
This fixes that during the loading time all the images are shown.
Also contains a hack for an issue that sometimes occurs with the jquery load event in IE6
