this looks excellent - briliant use of polls.

couple of questions: are you using views extensively to create the assorted pages like 'pending' recently closed, etc...?

also, are these all off the shelf d5 modules in place on the site, or did you have to code anything unique to do this? the closing dates and start dates look like displayed polls dates -is that correct?

nice job! nice design as well!

It is so good to read your words. Very encouraging.
I am not a programmer and just recently discovered Drupal with it's "off the shelf" modules that made it all possible for me, I come from the business development side of projects.
Yes I use views (cant do without it) and all are off the shelf modules with some modifications. e.g. the closing dates and start dates are actually the event module modified.
At this point the website is a kind of a BETA, because i have a lot of ideas but can not implement them - as i said i am not really a programmer. I need to find someone professional.

Are you a designer?

thanks again.

wish i were, then i wouldn't have to hammer on the themes so much ;)

i'm actually looking at a similar sort of q&a model - but event/time driven, but for a local community, nothing like what your'e after - but i really like the way it's put together...a solid designer could probably put some nice wraps and elements around things to make it more crisp (e.g. enclose each item in a rounded box, something to that effect)

I completely agree with you (the crisp idea) but i am not really a designer and for sure not a programmer, so i am now at the process of finding investor to help take the all way what i am able to take only half way.
I am using this website as a pilot in someway, to have some feedback and initial start, therefor I will appreciate any help in spreading the word!!!

About what you are trying to do - have you looked at Question module http://drupal.org/project/question it is not exactly what you described but could be a reference to start from.

That's a neat idea Itaye - very slick.

I noticed that there were 'settled' predictions appearing in your 'closing next' block - perhaps a small error in the way the view is defined? Or maybe I'm missing something.

keep at it - it's looking good.

Thank you jfall for the feedback and the small but important remark.

I would consider having a page after applying. People not familiar with drupal setups may not know what to do after applying and going back to the start page may have them thinking they didn't get applied so they may apply multiple times. You may already have considered this and chosen not to put it in your test site but if you get a lot of traffic multiple apps could be annoying.

You are right.
I changed that and redirect them after registration to a welcome page.

Thanks.
