I usually force entire (short) posts to be shown on the frontpage of my Drupal 5.x sites by putting a break at the end, and the "Read more" link is then not shown on the front page.
But when I try to do this on my brand new 6.1 site (using either the break code or "Split summary at cursor"), the "Read more" link is still shown on the front page.
Is this a bug, or me doing something wrong?

damien tournoud commentedThis is very well a bug. Reassigned to 7.x, because bugs get corrected there first, and then back-ported to 6.x.

damien tournoud commentedOk, this is nearly a duplicate of #201854: "Read more" link sometimes shown when it shouldn't be, or not shown when it should, that was not fixed correctly :(

rondp commentedJust wondering if there's anything new because I'm having exactly the described problem with Drupal 6.6.
Very annoying because it's all hidden under the hood and the only way to get rid of the "Read more" I could find is to fire up phpmyadmin and edit the actual data in the database.
