Relative references and RSS feeds

I'm wondering if there are any fixes for this. When creating a link and using a relative reference that some RSS readers do not correctly translate the relative reference to the correct absolute reference. My preferred reader, Google Reader, does correctly translate relative references. Bloglines doesn't. Within a Bloglines document, the relative reference is translated to "http://bloglines.com/relativereference" which is incorrect. I haven 't tested any of the other readers, so I'm not sure if Bloglines is the odd one out.

Is the only way around this, to make sure that absolute references are used in the first place.
