naheemsays commentedI ran the module through coder.module and got the attached patch.
The module is not working, but I suppose others can work on this base.
naheemsays commentedUpdated patch - the admin settings page now works.
The block does not show (not sure if it is supposed to before any action as I have not tested the drupal5 version), and the only option added to the links under the node/comments is "prune", but this does not work either.
ShutterFreak commentedSubscribing as I really need it for my Drupal 6 powered site.

ricmadeira commentedComment mover is insanely useful, heck, it should be in core. Hope to see it on the other side when I finally update my site to 6.x.

Clemens commentedWe NEED 'Comment Mover'. I NEED 'Comment Mover'.
What can a non-coder do to help to get this ball rolling again?
hedac commentedyes please. it's strange we don't see this in drupal 6 yet.
naheemsays commentedIts not strange - its just a mater of someone doing the work.

michelleI just asked killes on IRC and he is no longer maintaining this module. Heine, the only other person with cvs access, is giving away all his contrib modules so not likely anything happening there. With killes's permission, I put a note on the project page that this module is looking for a new maintainer.
If no one steps up, I might take it over but it wouldn't be until Feb/Mar at the earliest as I have too much on my plate already right now.

psicomante commented@Michelle, did you get the cvs access? We can do a patch ;)
michelle@Psicomante - I could add myself to cvs access at any time. I just don't have time to take on the module just yet. If no one else steps up in the mean time, I'll take it when I know I have time for it.

heine commentedI've committed a 1:1 update to Drupal 6.x (branch: DRUPAL-6--1, development release node for testing on http://drupal.org/node/351157). The module is not NOTICE free and fugly.
Please file bugs against 6.x-1.x-dev as separate issues.
michelleThanks, Heine, you're awesome!
I'll still look at taking it in a couple months if you want, but this helps a lot in the mean time. :)
