I'm looking to create a system where certain product will have several prices. This is to sell content rights and I'd like to have different levels of content rights like, print publication, web publication, email publication 0-500 people, email publication 501+, one time publication, world wide exclustive publication rights- those are examples off the top of my head. Any ideas how to set this up? These will all be sold as one, word or pdf file. Should I tweak the choosing of qty. so that it reflects these different price levels for different licenses? Thanks for any ideas.

I have the exact same need in a completely different way. I'm selling rare and unique furniture and accessories. Almost all of my items have multiple prices depending on how you buy them. For instance, how do I set up an item like this:

Item: Pair of Suede Bentwood Chairs
Price: $1490 Pair or $1117 Single

My entire inventory is priced like this and I can't figure out how to configure the module appropriately.

I guess I could list the chair as a single item with a price of $1117 and set the inventory to 2. But then do I also have to list the pair as an item with a price of $1490? That will mess up my inventory and confuse me and my customers. I really need the option to set multiple prices for the same item.

Or am I missing something.

I'm working on a site with a friend where we need to adjust the price by the user class as well (some people get better discounts because they buy more), perhaps this is also something to add to this...

whoey, the ecommerce package can already do role-based price adjustments.
