A question to the developers: Do you have any plans to port the Multisite Login Module to Drupal 6? How soon would that be? Are there any major changes necessary to get the module working with D6?

This is an open source project. The maintainers work on this module for enjoyment in their spare time, or for clients. If you wish to accelerate the pace of development you can:

-contribute patches (of this module and the dependent multisite_api)
-review patches and give detailed reports of what did and did not work (of this module and the dependent multisite_api)
-become the maintainer's client. Employ them to port the module.
-post an RFP to the Paid Drupal Services forum to hire someone else to work on the port

I think all modules should be ported to the newest update without question, it has little to do with developers asking for spare change like a common street beggar. If you are going to be in an open source community it's about volunteering and part of that is keeping with the upgrades so the rest of the community can continue to enjoy. It reminds me of the jewish holocaust hoax where the jews make people feel sorry for them so they will give them money that's how they all got rich.
