Hello. This has happened at least four times. You cannot post an entry. Yesterday I had 260 unique visitors, and would like to have had them sign the guestbook. They couldn't. I've just tried it myself three times, in both AOL and Mozilla Firefox, and couldn't post a message.

vm commentedwhat does this have to do with drupal core ?
A) you should be using Drupal 5.7, you are 2 security and bug fix releases behind.
B) this should be moved to the guestbook module query as that seems to be the module you are having trouble with.

michelleThis is an issue with the guestbook module, not Drupal core. Moving to the proper queue.

aahcarole commentedHello,
Thank you everyone for replying. I am grateful!
I'm new to Drupal. Thanks for letting me know I should upgrade the bug fixes. I searched for and didn't find the Guestbook module; I appreciate your comments.
I am less pleased with this: I wrote to Drupal. They require an email address, which I gave. I was not aware that my comment, request, and private email address would now be easy to find by google.
I'm astonished to see that private email to Drupal is public on google.
Wiser now.
Thanks!
Carole

vm commentedI removed your "private" email address from the original post above.
I don't understand why this is a surprise to you. Ultimately it was you, not Drupal that made your "private" email address public when you chose to add it to a public post on a public web site. At the very least you could have obfuscated it.
Either way, it's been removed from this thread and eventually it will be removed from Google cache.

aahcarole commentedWould you please remove the entire thread? It's urgent. Cannot explain publicly.
Thank you.
vm commentedreferences you wanted removed have been removed. It is not common that threads are deleted from drupal.org especially after others have already commented. While you may be the owner of the orginal thread, the commenters are the owners of their comments.

sunaahcarole doesn't seem to know what she's doing. Let's close this. Feel free to re-open if you want to provide further information about the original issue.
