I would like backport this module to 4.7, but I can't manage with this by myself… Is anyone would like to help me with this?

Shaman,

the newer versions of this module uses new jQuery functions, which it not present on D4.7 or even D5. So it will be impossible to backport it.
Older versions might work, however, will not be supported.

There is a jquery module for 4.7 so whats the problem?

jQuery is really buggy before version 1.2. Also, Cycle plugin isnt available for older jQuery.

But the real problem is that i simply dont have the time to maintain. I dont even have a D5 or D4.7 install here.
