Hi,
I'm probably doing something silly, but I've installed Audio and uploaded an mp3 - I can view the node, etc. but the Flash players will not show. I've checked the Audio settings and content type. All looks ok, but I only get a "Click to play" link - no player. =(
Can anyone help me?

daniboy commentedI'm having the same problem.
My file-system is set to private downloads if that matters somehow.

josh@pixael.com commentedhi guys
i discovered that flash player run only with files with following rates: 44khz, 22khz, 11khz
Comment #6
greg.harveyPlease don't close until this is verified. It may be only part of the problem.
Comment #7
josh@pixael.com commentedthis is a necessary condition...
if you don't use getid3 you must insert the rate to show the player
Comment #8
SilvioTO commentedThe best solution is to activate getid3 part of the module. Everything work fine now.
Comment #9
VenDG commentedI have getid3 installed, the rate for my file is 12khz so it seems that it might be true that the flash player only plays certain rates. I will try to change the rate to 11khz to see if that makes it appear.

greg.harveyHow does this work? I don't have anywhere to "insert the rate". The only fields I have are:
* title
* body
* add a new audio file (the file upload field for Audio)
* allow file downloads (checkbox)
Nothing about telling the Audio module what the bitrate of an mp3 is...?

VenDG commentedChanged to 11khz, file plays.

Rhino commentedIs there any way one could get the flash player to play other khz? I've made the audio available so that users can upload short sounds and can' control what rates they'll have their mp3's recorded on (in fact they all seem to be 12khz so far)
Comment #13
hikarateboy commentedYou need to create your mp3 or media file with those rates before uploading. you can not do it thru a field in drupal.

greg.harveyOk, thanks. I was starting to suspect that, but j0sh's post was misleading - suggested there might be a smarter way.

Sam Roy commentedI'm having the same issue; the player is not displaying, but only in IE (Internet Explorer). Now, the strange things is, nothing changed on the website...
Any clues???
Thanks in advance
