Description

Well, I was really long looking around now to find some instruction on this - but can't find any, so possible the problem is just me... The issue is Gmap-location (location-version is 5.x-1.x-dev) related, so I don't know if my post is correct here. But I give it a try.

Problem:
After I defined a location-enabled node-type (in locative settings I set 1 for 'max allowed location allowed for this nodetype' and 1 for 'default number of location forms'), and try to create create content with that nodetype the default Gmap is somewhere in Africa and very zoomed in. I don't find where to change this behaviour.

I set the wanted default Map on admin/settings/gmap.
It doesn't seem to be an auto-zoom issue, as turning this off/on doesn't make a difference, changing the GMap version also didn't work.

Probably this problem already others had, if you know where it's being discussed, please direct me.
Thanx for any help!

Stefan

Silly me!

Settings have to be changed int Gmap location for this issue! Nothing to do with Gmap.

In admin/settings/gmap_location change the Macro! Change the center and zoom-value. For Austria/Switzerland this would be something like [gmap |id=usermap|center=47,11|zoom=5|width=100%|height=400px]

So I changed center=40,0 to 47,11 and zoom=3 to zoom=5, and I get a really nice default map display when I want to create content with that node-type.

:-) I'm happy now and maybe this helps someone else :-)
